Steve Stewart, Manager of Safekids Network
Steve is a licensed marriage and family therapist, with over 21 years of various types of counseling experiences. His expertise is primarily in helping people solve very difficult marriage and family problems. He also counsels individuals as they work to overcome personal or mental health difficulties. He helps people recover from many types of abuse, both as victims and as offenders. He has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University.
Steve has taught counseling skills in the USA, China, and Albania. For many years, he has also volunteered his services for several local non-profit agencies, and he has recently founded SafeKids Network, which is developing a reliable, national protocol that safeguards children in public venues. As an advocate for justice, Steve supports the Center for Biblical Equality International and he co-facilitates a therapy group of African American men for Allies in Change Counseling Center.
